Our horse tail reflector uses high visibility 3M Scotchlite reflective material, which features innovative retro-reflection light. Retro-reflection light results in a much brighter reflection than any other reflective product on the market today.

Hi-Viz Tail Reflectors will conform to your horse’s dock of the tail. The special air-flo liner makes our wraps comfortable enough to be used for long periods of time. No need to worry about wrapping too tight or slipping. Adjustable Velcro closure makes it easy to put on and take off yet provides a snug, secure fit. Our horse tail reflectors are popular mounted units and road riders that want to be seen.  EZ on & EZ off Velcro closures makes putting on simple.  The horse and rider are visible.  Also, tail reflectors are the first part of a horse a driver will see.

Why 3M Scotchlite?

All our high visibility horse riding gear uses the most innovative, reflective material on the market today, 3M Scotchlite. 3M is the only company to use a unique physics technique called retro-reflection light. The result is a much brighter reflection than other reflective products.  It returns retro-reflection light in the same direction it came. Other reflective materials scatter the light (i.e., headlights of a car). Retro-reflection results in a much brighter reflected light. A good analogy would be if you shined a spotlight on a metal sheet versus shining the spotlight at a mirror. The mirror (retro-reflection) returns all but a tiny amount of light. The sheet metal (reflection) scatters the light rays and returns very little back toward you.
