A. General Acceptance of Terms
Access to and use of this website is subject to the following conditions. Please do not use this website unless you agree with these conditions. This website has been developed by Sleezy Barb Horsewear, LLC. We reserve the right to discontinue or to make partial or complete modifications to the website. Please note that we make such changes at our discretion and without prior announcement.
We provide sleezybarbhorsewear.com and related services (the site) to you, the user, subject to your compliance with all the terms, conditions, and notices contained or referenced in this agreement or on the website.
By using this website, you agree to be bound by these terms of use. If you do not wish to be bound by these terms of use, please exit the site after reading these terms of use. Your remedy for dissatisfaction with the site or any product, services, content, or other information available on or through the site is to stop using the site or those products. Your agreement with us regarding compliance with these terms of use becomes effective immediately upon Checkout.
We reserve the right to revise any of these Terms & Conditions in our sole discretion, at any time, by updating this statement. Such changes will be effective immediately upon posting them. We include the effective date at the top of this statement. Your continued use of the Site after a change has been posted constitutes your acceptance of the change. If you disagree with any changes to these Terms & Conditions, your sole remedy is to discontinue your use of the Site.
B. Online Store Terms
The Site may only be used for lawful purposes. You are responsible for the consequences of your communications, uploads, transmission, and posting of information on or through the Site, and for any use of the Site by anyone accessing it using your login information. By submitting information through the Site, you represent that you are 18 years of age or older. You represent and warrant that any information you transmit to the Site is truthful, accurate, and not misleading and offered in good faith, and that you have the right to transmit such information. You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature. A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your services.
C. Alterations & Repairs
ALTERATIONS: We understand that your horse may not be an “average adult stock-type horse”. If your horse is not a stock type horse, such as an Arabian, Morgan, Welsh, POA, Thoroughbred, etc., please call us, at (989)227-5741, to get the correct size before placing your order or, tell us your horse’s breed, height, and weight in the “Customer Comments” box in the shopping cart. Please be aware that we may need your horse’s measurements before we can proceed. Here is a guide to help you, “How to Measure Your Horse” Any alterations to our patterns must be made before we cut your order. These initial alterations are always free. Remember, the fit of your article depends on the accuracy of your measurements. Therefore, please double-check your measurements.
Alterations after the fact may not be possible. Please be aware we cannot make articles bigger only smaller. Also, smaller can only be a few minor tweaks. Total resizing of an article cannot be done because necklines, belly bands, eye, and ear holes are in different locations for each size. If a nip or tuck is needed, please send us a picture first to determine what adjustments are needed and we’ll give you an estimate on the cost of the tailoring. Once you receive approval, simply return the article to us, with your authorization number written on the outside, a postage-paid return envelope, and your credit card info or check on the inside. Items sent in dirty, hairy, or smelly will incur a $25 cleaning charge before any alterations can be made.
REPAIRS: We may be able to repair and or patch Sleezy Barb Horsewear® products. However, please send us a picture first to determine if the repair is possible. The minimum charge for repairs starts at $25 + return postage. Please be aware that some repairs may be too extensive. Therefore, it may not be cost-effective to have the repair done. All alterations and repairs are shipped within 24 hours. Please, only washed articles can be accepted for repairs. Items sent in dirty, hairy, or smelly will incur a $25 cleaning charge before any repairs can be made.
D. Return Policy
Our website is carefully divided into categories “READY MADE/IN STOCK “or “MADE TO ORDER/CUSTOM MADE”. Please make yourself aware of the difference because it determines its return eligibility. Any returns or exchanges must be done within 10 days of receiving your order and must follow our return protocol. Our return policy lasts 10 days. If 10 days have gone by since you received your order, unfortunately, we can not offer you a refund or exchange. It is the responsibility of the customer to pay all return shipping charges. We carefully monitor returns, and in some cases, returns or exchanges may be limited or declined. We reserve the right to deny any returns or exchanges for violations of our return policy.
MADE TO ORDER/CUSTOM MADE: All sales are final, no exceptions. We are a custom shop. This means every order is made on an individual basis and is unique. When you place your order, you select fabric from the roll which is then cut and sewn specifically for your horse. As a result, EVERYTHING, except the “Ready Made” section on our website, is “Custom Made to Order” and is not refundable or exchangeable. This includes articles that have options, custom color orders, embroidered orders, and products altered to your specifications. If you have a fit problem, we will gladly try to make any adjustments, within our discretion. Please be aware there will be a tailoring charge and this is subject to our Alteration & Repair policy. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges including the return shipment when the alteration is complete. If Sleezy Barb Horsewear does agree to accept the return of “Made to Order/Custom Made” articles there will be a 50% production/resale fee or $25 minimum return fee per article, whichever is greater. Returned merchandise must be in the SAME CONDITION as when it was received. This means it must be unused and also be in the original packaging. After inspecting the returned merchandise, a credit may be given if these items show no signs of wear or use and are clean. This means NO hair, dirt, hay, or sawdust on the article. Ripped or torn items are not returnable. Items showing any signs of use will not be accepted. We cannot take back used items because we cannot resell them. This is for cosmetic reasons as well as health reasons. Used, abused, or incomplete items shipped back to us will not be refunded or exchanged and will be donated to a local 4-H club in your name after cleaning.
SALE BARN: All items are final sale. No returns, no exchanges, no refunds.
READY MADE/IN STOCK: Ready Made (non-” made to order/custom made”) items are purchased from the “Ready-Made” area of the website and “Ready-Made” will be printed on the first line in the item description of your receipt. These are pre-made articles. The items shown are here in-house and can ship without having to be made first. If your receipt does NOT contain the words “Ready-Made” in the first line of the product description, it means that it was “Made to Order” specifically for you. Only “Ready-Made/In Stock” items may be returned for refund or exchange. Please call (989)227-5741, during regular business hours, to receive your RMA number before returning the item. Items returned without an RMA number will not be accepted and no refund will be given. Upon receiving your RMA number, please return the article immediately. Returned merchandise must be in the SAME CONDITION as when it was received. This means it must be unused and also be in the original packaging. Shipping charges are not refunded. RETURN AUTHORIZATION: All returns must be examined by our staff before a refund or replacement can be authorized. If you need a replacement right away, we suggest you place a new order. Items returned without an RMA number will not be accepted and no refund will be given. We reserve the right to refuse for refund or replacement articles that have been worn or show any signs of wear or misuse, such as snags, stains, or tears caused by you or your horse. Horses are very strong animals and there is no fabric on the market today that will not rip or tear from a horse determined to take it off. Please exercise care when trying on and close all Velcro before shipping. Returned items must be in the same new condition as they were received. This means NO hair, dirt, hay, or sawdust on the article. Items showing any signs of use will not be accepted. Ripped, snagged, or torn items are not returnable. Articles not washed according to our “Care Instructions” can not be returned. We cannot take back used items because we cannot resell them. This is for health reasons as well as cosmetic reasons. Used, abused, or incomplete items shipped back to us will not be refunded or exchanged and will be donated to a local 4-H club in your name after cleaning.
E. Shipping Information
When your order is completed and shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number. If the tracking shows that it is awaiting pickup from the carrier, it means that it has not been picked up yet at our facility, or the carrier did not scan the package upon pickup. Please keep checking your tracking for updates on package movement. If you did not receive these notifications, please check your spam or junk folders or if you have multiple email accounts, please check the one you entered on your order.
If your tracking shows delivered but you have not received your package, please contact the shipping service directly. On our end, there is very little we can do to aid you in tracking a lost package. We cannot be held accountable for packages that are lost or stolen when the tracking shows delivered. Insurance is available for an additional fee by request only.
If your tracking shows that a package is “stuck” at an intermediary location, please contact the shipping service directly. There is very little we can do once it has been picked up by the carrier service.

Shipping Times
Sleezy Barb Horsewear is NOT responsible for carrier-related shipping delays, international duties or customs fees, lost packages, damaged packages, or packages that are marked delivered by the carrier service. We are not responsible if the package is not delivered by the carrier within their defined shipping times. Once the package is picked up, we cannot control how long it takes to arrive at your doorstep. Shipping companies are still facing challenges that could prevent a package from being delivered in the allotted time on the initial tracking number. We will not refund additional shipping charges if the carrier fails to meet their estimated shipping times as laid out within the tracking information. Please contact your local Post Office or UPS station to obtain information concerning a refund.
Undeliverable and Refused Packages
If a delivery is refused for any reason or considered undeliverable due to an invalid shipping address, you will be charged a penalty that may include, but is not limited to an extra shipping charge. Please proofread your order information before finalizing.
F. Cancellations
Cancellations can be made within 24 hours of placing your order or before your article is cut, whichever comes first. Upon cancelling your order you will receive a full refund within 2 business days. Please note that while the funds are instantly deducted from our account, some banks may take 5-7 business days to process and post these refunds to your account.
G. Warranty Information
All Sleezy Barb Horsewear® products come with a 10-day exchange or repair guarantee against manufacturing defects. We want you to feel good about the quality products that we take pride in building. Our purpose at Sleezy Barb Horsewear is to enable horse owners to purchase high-quality horsewear at a reasonable cost. Everything we make is from the finest quality materials available, has been proven on our horses first, and is guaranteed to fulfill the purpose for which it was sold. Horses are 1,000+ pound animals that are strong and unpredictable. They are capable of destroying things. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the owner to assess the fitness and suitability of a product for his horse. Even though we make all our articles out of the highest quality materials available, horses will roll, rub, or chew. No stretch fabric on the market today can withstand sustained abuse. Not all horses can wear sleezys, stretch sheets, uni-bodies, etc. Therefore, this “Manufacturer’s Defects Only Warranty” does not cover damage caused by the horse or owner and is limited to the article only. We make no guarantee, express or implied, of fitness for a particular purpose. We disclaim responsibility for the use or misuse of products. Comments and statements regarding products are intended to be correct and accurate but the customer should be guided by their judgment.
H. Product Information
We attempt to display all products shown on the website accurately. However, because of the technical differences in the equipment of our customers, we cannot be responsible for photographic differences in the size, shape, and color of the products. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.
I. Order Information
The receipt of an email order confirmation is simply a recognition that we have received your requested order and does not constitute an offer to sell. We reserve the right to limit the quantity of any item sold or refuse service to anyone for any reason, including but not limited to prohibiting sales to resellers.
J. Typographical Errors
While we make every effort to provide accurate information, inaccuracies or errors may occur, including price information and product specifications. In the unlikely event that there is a typographical error, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you about the cancellation. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, including after an order has been submitted and whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged.
K. Copyright and Trademark Notice
Unless otherwise specified, all materials appearing on this site, including the test, site design, logos, graphics, icons, and images, as well as the selection, assembly, and arrangement thereof, are the sole property of Sleezy Barb Horsewear. You may use the content of this site only for shopping or placing an order on this site and for no other purpose. No materials from this site may be copied, reproduced, modified, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any form or by any means without our prior written permission. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved. Any unauthorized use of the materials appearing on this site may violate copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws and could result in criminal or civil penalties.
