Easy on/Easy off
In general, most horses tolerate things pulled over their heads. Therefore, the face mask is easy to put on. First, pull on over your horse’s head. Center the eyes and ears in the middle of the holes. Adjust the noseband to keep the slinky face mask in place. Finally, your mask should fit smoothly on the horse’s head, like swimwear, but not too tight to create a rub.
Care
Your slinky face mask is made of 80% nylon/ 20% spandex. Therefore, it is machine washable and air-dries quickly. Also, follow our simple Care Instructions for the best results.

The masks you made were absolutely perfect for covering his face wound. He had to wear bandages for the first week and a half after his sutures were put in, and your mask kept it protected. Once we were able to leave the wound open, the vets told me to keep the mask on to keep out dirt and especially biting insects. Today, he has a full scab and a very manageable wound, thanks to your masks.
Thank you so much for these. I don’t know how I would have kept flies out while not covering the whole thing in Swat, which wouldn’t have been ideal for him.

The mask that I ordered from you arrived today and I just love it! I am very impressed by the quality. I ordered it for Misty, my Paint mare, whose face has been getting badly rubbed by her halter and cribbing strap. First of all thanks sooooo much for your horse wear service! I ordered a Sleezy mask on 5 June and got it in time to find it works great for my horse Waylon. He just went through 5 sinus surgeries and now has two holes in his face as well as 50 staples holding down a bone flap. The Sleezy mask not only fits great and looks great, but Waylon is so much more comfortable wearing it than the stockinette that the vet hospital was using. AWESOME!
So I just ordered two more so that I can rotate them and keep them washed up since is wounds do tend to ooze just a bit. I wanted to write and say thank you very much for helping my guy to be styling and comfortable while he heals. I brought him home in his Sleezy and everywhere we stopped to rest along the 400 mile drive, people thought he was some fancy race horse.

I just wanted to thank you for the quality product you made last year for my horse Levi. He had to start wearing a grazing muzzle and it rubbed raw spots on the side of his face in several places. I ordered the giraffe print sleezy mask to put under it and it works perfectly. I just ordered two additional masks for this year. He’s almost worn out the one I bought last year (of course, he didn’t have it a week when he poked a hole in the forehead). He has a tear duct that doesn’t drain properly and his eye matts up a lot. I had to wash his face mask frequently last year so there were times he had to go without it until I could get it back out to the barn after washing. This year, because it worked out so well, I ordered two, one to wear and one to clean. I’m trying the spotted dog pattern this year. Maybe next year, we’ll go rogue and try a brighter color.
I’ll try to get a picture of him in his new mask and email it to you. The old one is really too worn out to show off.

The sleezy mask and boot covers fit great and I would recommend you to anybody. They are excellent quality and was pleasantly surprised with the zipper on the face mask. I hate doing zippers and putting them in and yours are wonderful especially the stitching.
