Does your horse detest having his face covered but you need to keep his coat shiny and show ready? With our Fly Mesh Faceless Body Sleezy, you can train your horse’s mane while protecting the shoulders from blanket rub marks!  Like our headless horse hoodie, accordion pleats in the neck allow for extra room when your horse puts his head down to eat. The throatlatch opening is reinforced and is fully adjustable. Includes a wide Velcro® strap that can’t be rubbed open or slide down the neck.   Made from 4-way stretch nylon/Lycra mesh which leaves coats soft and silky. NOT FOR TURNOUT USE UNLESS UNDER A FLYSHEET.

Invented in 2010, this product filled the need of horse owners who wanted a headless sleazy.  Now, there are knock-offs, poor quality imitations, and cheap imports. Easy on/Easy off

In general, most horses tolerate things around their head.  Therefore, the Faceless Uni-Body is a snap to put on. First of all, open the full-length zipper, Velcro® belly band, and Velcro® throatlatch.  Then, lay the middle of the sleazy along your horse’s top line.  Starting at the bottom of the chest, zip up the chest zipper.  Then, tighten the throatlatch Velcro®, otherwise, the neck portion may slip down. Finally, straighten the back seam until it runs down the middle of the back. Close the Velcro® belly band. Your faceless body sleazy should fit smoothly, like swimwear, but not too tight to create a rub.

Care

Because your fly mesh faceless body slinky contains 80% nylon/ 20% spandex fabric, it is machine washable. Air dries fast. Also, follow our simple Care Instructions for best results. Wash your full body slinky at least once a month to prevent bacteria build-up.

What Makes Moisture Wicking Mesh so Special

Moisture-wicking mesh is ideal because it allows maximum freedom of movement and makes an excellent hot weather outer covering.

Moisture-wicking fly mesh features a body-hugging 4-way stretch that is very breathable. It will keep your horse dry when he sweats. These are the most versatile outdoor fabrics available today. This fabric has a  soft inner layer that pulls moisture away from the skin keeping your horse dry, cool and comfortable.

How does this work? Moisture and high humidity next to the skin cause discomfort.  Performance mesh will keep the skin dry because the fabric is very breathable and does not restrict the movement of moisture vapor.  When the fabric’s inner surface touches the horse’s body it will draw off the sweat. Sweat is wicked off the skin to the outside of the fabric, where it spreads rapidly for evaporation.  Because it spreads out too many times its original surface area, your horse will stay cool and dry.

When used under looser fitting non-stretch fly mesh hood and sheets, it prevents rubbing  Keep your horse dry and comfortable while protecting and polishing the hair coat.
