Make a Cheshire Cat Grin
I designed this Cheshire Cat grin to go with the costume. It’s quick, easy, and the results are fabulous!
You’ll need:
- Heavy white poster board
- Cat Grin template, printed on 8 1/2″ x 11″ paper or white card stock
- One sheet of pink craft foam
- Cat Nose template
- Scissors and glue stick for construction
- Scotch Mount Double-Sided Mounting Tape Extreme
First, print the grin from the template. Glue the grin to the poster board. Cut out the smile including the tab at the top of the smile. You’ll glue your nose to it.
Print the cat nose template. Lay it on top of your pink craft foam. Cut around the edge. Adhere the foam nose to the tab at the top of the smile with the glue stick.
Cut a 3″ piece of the Extreme tape. Place it on the back of your grin. Take the grin and adhere it to the sleezy noseband. Press firmly and hold for 30 seconds.
However, if you are in a real hurry and don’t have time for the 3D effect of the pink craft foam nose, you can print out the entire template (grin & nose). Glue it onto a piece of white card stock or heavy poster board. Trim around the edge. Attach to sleezy noseband with Scotch Extreme Mounting Tape.
