Need to keep your mini clean at the shows?  Our mini horse full-body slinky fashioned from breathable, body-hugging spandex keeps your horse comfy while allowing for full-body movement.  Full body coverage keeps the hair coat tight and shiny. When you’re ready to show, simply unzip, undo the belly band, and lift off to remove!

Keep a healthy hair coat

The Miniature Horse Full Body Suit is perfect to use under heavy winter blankets as an additional layer of warmth or as an underliner. See the article about bacteria, fungi, and mold build-up under winter blankets. Because an underliner is much easier to wash than a bulky winter blanket, you can wash it at home.  You will be able to keep bacteria build-up to a minimum. Also, your mini will appreciate being less itchy. Your body sleazy needs washing at least twice a month to prevent bacteria build-up. Because a heavy winter blanket traps body heat, the spandex underliner can overstretch. Remove it. Let the Lycra® recover its memory by giving the sheet a good shake. Then, let it hang over a railing.

Easy on/Easy off

In general, most minis tolerate things put on them. Therefore, putting on a full-body sleezy is easy to do.   First of all, open the full-length zipper and Velcro® belly band.  Then, lay the middle of the body suit along your horse’s top line. Your horse’s eyes and ears should be in the middle of the holes. If not, the slinky could rub and cause discomfort.  Starting at the bottom of the chest, zip up the chest zipper.  Then, tighten the noseband Velcro®, otherwise, the head portion may shift. Lastly, straighten the back seam until it runs down the middle of the back, and close the Velcro® belly band. Your full-body suit should fit smoothly, like swimwear, over your horse’s head, neck, and body but not too tight to create a rub.

Care for your full body

Because the mini full body contains made with 80% nylon/ 20% spandex fabric, it is machine washable. Air dries fast. Also, follow our simple Care Instructions for the best results. Wash your full body slinky at least once a month to prevent bacteria build-up.
